Mini Cheer Night - Thursday and Friday
If your child is signed up for mini cheer night with the high school cheerleaders, they will stay after school tomorrow (Thursday). They will practice until 5:30pm. Please line up for pick up as you would for a normal school day. Do not get out of your vehicle. We will send your child out to you.
On Friday, please have your child arrive at the elementary at 6:00pm. We will practice for the game and head over around 6:45pm. The game will begin at 7:00pm and the elementary girls will cheer the first and second quarter of the game. Youth Night is also this week, so if your child is an NES cheerleader, they will be recognized at halftime.
We will KEEP students on the track with us until youth night recognitions are over. Once they are over, please meet us at the gate next to the concession stands to take your child with you.
What to wear: Cheerleaders will receive their shirts as well as parent shirts (if purchased) at practice on Thursday. They can wear a cheer skirt if they have one. If not, they can wear black shorts or leggings. We will put bows in the girls’ hair on Friday before the game. Please put their hair in a pony tail. If it is chilly, they can wear a long sleeve shirt under their cheer shirt. The girls can wear whatever they want to practice on Thursday. Please send water bottles both days.
If we get rain, we will still cheer. :)
